I participated in the Camp Ecosystem Discovery Hub and earned Acorns. Will I have a head start?

• Offchain acorns have been converted to onchain Matchsticks at 100 to 1 for qualified, non-sybilled real users. You just traded copper for GOLD!
• You may open a Discord ticket if you feel that you lost progress in error. Appeals are not guaranteed if we determine that you achieved acorns or matchsticks through fraudulent behavior, and we may reserve the right to revoke all points. </aside>

1. What is an incentivized testnet?

Our incentivized testnet gives you, Camper, the first opportunities to meet our partners who have already deployed on Basecamp and are building incredible experiences! You will meet each partner and complete one or more quests to learn more about the teams building on Camp, as well as use their dApps and have a great time doing so!

“I participated in the previous hub! What happened?”

The previous hub was a social discovery hub. This is our first hub on Basecamp to have onchain actions, to create a true incentivized testnet. Thus, Acorn progress has been converted to Matchstick progress at 100:1 since Matchsticks are an ERC-20 onchain currency on Basecamp.

2. What is the Climb to the Summit?

The Climb to the Summit is a multi-week journey with Camp and the incredible partners building with us! Our testnet is called K2 - the second highest mountain in the Himalayas. Each week you can expect new content, new quests, and loads of fun with the games, dapps, DeFi markets, and more that have been building alongside Camp this past year!

We will be releasing regular content that will show your progress up K2 over the coming weeks with new partners, new experiences created exclusively for you, and more!

3. Who can participate in the Climb to the Summit?

The Climb to the Summit is open to all! More quests will be added as partners launch their dApps, so check back frequently.

If you have not created a Web3 wallet before, don’t worry! Just sign in with your socials or email to participate.

The site is optimized for Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. If you have any type of ad-blocker or extension installed that doesn’t play well with JavaScript, you’ll want to disable those.

The experience is optimized for desktop/laptop PCs, but a lite experience will be available on mobile. The quests can be completed on any device.

4. How do I sign up for the Ecosystem Quests?

To sign up for the Ecosystem Quests:

1. Visit The Climb to the Summit on Camp.
2. Log into the portal with your wallet and make sure you are logged into your X account, Discord, and Telegram as well before starting your quests!
3. Once registered, you'll have access to the available quests and instructions for each testnet ecosystem partner under each “Tutorial” section.
